Easy Keto Diet

Menstruation, Hormones and Women on the Ketogenic Diet

The man's diet

How can the diet of mental, hormonal stabilization, of improving chemical messages in the brain not be good for these wonderful beings that we are?

Today, we will talk about the two big problems we can face, the Keto myths for us:

  • hypothyroidism and ketogenic diet
  • HPA axis dysfunction (adrenal fatigue) and ketogenic diet

Can the ketogenic diet generate these problems? How to avoid these hormonal disorders? How to optimize Keto for women?

First question: when I say that Keto will give you the maximum stability that your brain can have, you have to know that you are not a man.

Women are blessed with the ability to live multiple lives over the course of a single month.

When these people inside you are out of control, you have a serious problem. When you have hormonal dysfunction, you feel the classics “I don’t recognize myself” or “I’m not like that”.

You begin to feel as if there is a force within you that is more powerful than yourself.

This super strength alternates between violence ( poorly controlled energy ) and extreme fatigue ( poorly controlled introspection ).

Between these uncontrolled ups and downs, a process of destruction of everything around them begins: relationships, work, children, family.

This super strength, in the Ketogenic Diet, will be called “Keto energy” . She will move you forward in a constructive way and, at the time of introspection, you will lie in bed and sleep. As simple as that, your body was born to do.

In other words, Keto will not end your cycles, as many medications do, putting you in a constant artificial linearity.

Keto will maintain your feminine cycles, maintain the mobility of your emotions, but they will be regulated, balanced.

When the people inside you become all your friends, when there is a hormonal balance and your brain is working (being fed and powered by the right fuel), believe me: these people are the greatest magic that can exist in a being’s life human.

It is when you enjoy the ability to live four, five, six lives in one.

This is an immensely emotional and even spiritual enrichment. This adds so much to our children, so much to the people we help, that I cannot help seeing this change over the month as a great magic of the female body.

So, let’s get to this super body Keto.

Let’s find out what women experts on the Ketogenic Diet have to tell us about these two big risks and how to avoid them.

First of all, know that a diet based on fat can affect us. We know that estrogen is stored in fat cells and estrogen can be the biggest problem for most women.

The Ketogenic Diet is precisely characterized by taking a human body that is a sugar-burning machine (most people) and turning it into a fat-burning machine (a keto body).

When fat is your primary fuel source, you will obviously have an intense mobilization of fat and this can alter the release of estrogen.

Well, let’s go to the risks!

  • Hypothyroidism and ketogenic diet (we’ll talk about it)
  • HPA axis dysfunction (adrenal fatigue) and ketogenic diet

The HPA axis is the great stress manager in your body (Hypothalamus, Pituitary gland and the adrenals).

The dysfunction in this axis came to be called, on the internet, adrenal fatigue.

In general terms, there are two factors that can cause dysfunction in the HPA axis.

Cortisol: remember that I always say that cortisol is Keto’s biggest enemy? Let’s go further: cortisol is a woman’s worst enemy at Keto, because cortisol is a major cause of adrenal fatigue.

So, the recipe is the same as always: you need to manage stress.

“Ah, I always hear that, but I’m a stressed person !!”

It was. The recipe may be the same as always, but the person following the recipe will be completely different on the Ketogenic Diet.

So far, you’ve fed your brain with unbalanced messages.

You ate sugar, inflamed your brain and collapsed your body, but you said you wanted to be less stressed.

At Keto, you’ll be feeding your brain to be a motor of balance for the first time.

You will be on a diet that goes along with your goal, not against.

You will be on a diet that lowers your blood sugar, your insulin, your cortisol and, just for that, you will be a balanced person.

And guess what happens when the message you send to your brain and your life goal go together? Everything you want.

That’s what the Ketogenic Diet does for you.

What are the symptoms of HPA axis dysfunction?

Chronic Fatigue: your day will end sooner. You will need to retire, even if you still have many chores and activities to do.

You will be irritated when you have to go beyond your psychological and physical limit (which is not exactly psychological).

You will feel that the world is exploding and the only will that will come is to lie down and run away from your family. Stay on your walk totally tired.

No energy to enjoy and to build your life and your potential as you should be doing.

Also, a slightly more severe shaft dysfunction can lead to real depression.

So, we saw that the first cause of adrenal fatigue is excessive stress.

The second cause is easily soluble and serves both as a cause of adrenal fatigue and as a cause of hypothyroidism in Keto.

The symptoms between the two disorders are also very similar: a lot of weakness, a lot of tiredness (chronic fatigue).

You can’t get out of bed. You start to put on weight even if you eat less and less and start to hear from people that you don’t have the willpower to lose weight.

No. You have a hormonal problem.

And what is the second cause of HPA axis dysfunction, which is the same for hypothyroidism?

It’s your mindset.

Low calorie in the ketogenic diet: you joined Keto and started to read, correctly, what calories matter.

If I know a little bit of psychology in these many years working with it, what happens to your little head at that time is:

“I’m going to cut calories!”

The same thing with fats. You’ve read that you need to burn your body’s own fats and decide to cut fats to supposedly lose weight fast.

What you just did is get into the perfect recipe to destroy your hormones and your brain.

Because the great enemy of hypothyroidism and HPA axis dysfunction is the low-calorie diet.

It is not for nothing that we go crazy when we count calories.

  • Hunger creates immense stress on the system.
  • The mind neurizes in counting.
  • Metabolism adapts to low energy consumption and is getting slower and slower.
  • The less you eat, the less you lose weight and the less energy you have.

Malnourished brain (without fats), body without energy, slow metabolism, hormonal dysfunction.

This is what the low calorie diet generates.

Ketogenic will help you with that.
